Intiya Ambrogi-Isaza has been named Madison Park Development Corporation’s new director of Real Estate.

“MPDC is excited to continue the work of building a vibrant and healthy community with the support of dedicated staff,” said CEO Leslie Reid. “We are looking forward to Intiya’s future contributions in this new role. We are proud to welcome an additional woman of color to lead MPDC’s initiatives to create a more vibrant and healthy Roxbury.”

Intiya Ambrogi-Isaza is deeply committed to affordable housing development and has worked with various non-profits in the Boston area and Western Massachusetts over the last seven years. Most recently, she was a senior development manager at OppCo, where she produced 77 units of senior housing, a healthcare clinic, and six units of homeownership in addition to organizational work with the Real Estate teams of Nuestra Comunidad and The Neighborhood Developers. Before finding her focus in this field, she worked on public parks in New York City and Chicago and a hotel project in her family’s native Colombia. All her work has been guided by a passion for keeping neighborhoods vibrant and accessible to all. She also serves on various civic organizations for the City of Boston and the board of Partakers, (a prison education and reentry non-profit). She is also the proud mama of five-month-old Marcelo.

August 2021 – Roxbury, MA– Today, Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) CEO Leslie Reid announced MPDC’s new Deputy Director, Ingrid Tucker.
Reid comments, “MPDC is excited to continue the work of building a vibrant and healthy community with the support of dedicated staff. I am honored to work with committed people invested in the uplift of Roxbury. We are looking forward to Ingrid’s future contributions in this new role.”
Dr. Ingrid Tucker is the Head of Cambridge Montessori School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She began her tenure as Head of School at CMS in July 2011. She is a passionate educator with an extensive history in education, serving students from toddler through high school. Before joining the Cambridge Montessori community, Dr. Tucker served as President of Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center (MCAEC) in Dorchester, Massachusetts. Mother Caroline is a tuition-free middle school for low-income girls in Boston. For seven years, she was the former Middle School Director and Assistant Head of School at Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Before joining the Beaver Community, she was Director of Admissions at the Atrium School for two years.
Her experience in Independent Schools began in 1993 at The Cambridge School of Weston, where she served as Dean of Multicultural Affairs, taught history, and worked as an Admissions Associate. Dr. Tucker spent six years training new teachers for the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) at the Beginning Teachers Institute in Little Compton, Rhode Island. She also trained public and private school teachers on Assessment, Classroom Management, and School Culture for the New England School Development Council (NESDEC). She has worked with public schools in Boston, Easton, Belchertown, and Westford, Massachusetts. Dr. Tucker joined fellow Heads of Color to offer a week-long summer intensive professional development course titled BOLD (Building Opportunities for Leadership Development) for aspiring Heads of Color from around the country.
Dr. Tucker currently serves on several boards, including the AISNE Membership (Accreditation) Team, St. John Paul Catholic School in Dorchester, and Cardinal’s Advisory Board. In addition, she served on the Board of Trustees at AISNE (Treasurer), the Montessori Schools of Massachusetts, the Board of Trustees at Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall School in Waltham, Dedham Country Day School, Boston Evening and Day Academy, Marynundo School for Girls in Rwanda, and was the Board Chair for Fellowship Christian Church in Boston. Dr. Tucker and her husband Phillip are the co-founders and Pastors of Awaken Christian Church. She is a native of Roxbury and is a die-hard New England sports fan. She enjoys traveling, writing, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Tucker has a longtime commitment to service learning in socio-economically disadvantaged communities and is passionate about children and education.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University. During her senior year in college, she was an exchange student at Spelman College. In addition, she received a Master of Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University and a Doctorate in Education from Boston College. Dr. Tucker and her husband are the proud parents of four adult children, three daughters, and one son. They reside in Milton, Massachusetts.

Silvia Ramirez began her career with MPDC in 2012 as an intern in the Finance Department. She later went on to become MPDC’s Corporate Accountant and Senior Accountant. Silvia is a 2013 graduate of UMass Boston, where she majored in Business Management with an Accounting concentration.

Madison Park Development Corporation Names Communications Director

Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC), a Roxbury-based nonprofit community development organization that develops real estate and promotes the welfare of local residents, recently announced that it named Kelly Ransom as director of communications and public affairs.

Ransom joined MPDC in 2018 as communications manager following her role as director of communications and events for Boston City Councilor At-Large Annissa Essaibi George. Previously, she worked with the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation as fundraising and communications associate.

Ransom is a graduate of Emerge’s Campaign Management Program and is currently acquiring her Certified Event Planner credentials. She studied public relations and advertising at Bunker Hill Community College.

February 2021 – Roxbury, MA– On Friday, February 19, 2021, Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) CEO Leslie Reid officially announced two promotions and one new hire at the organization – Yvette Jordan promoted from Operations & Office Manager to Director of Operations, Kelly Ransom promoted from Director of Communications & Events to Director of Communications and Public Affairs, and Tahara Samuel hired as Community Support Coordinator.
Director of Operations, Yvette Jordan, joined the MPDC team in 2012 after stepping down from her 20-year role as a Senior Investment Leader at Fidelity Investment. Yvette chose to begin working in the non-profit sector for personal satisfaction. Yvette started at MPDC as an Office Manager, which involved maintaining and supporting the office and assisting multiple program departments in their community efforts. Her role expanded two years ago to Operations and Office Manager and now to Director of Operations. Her role as Director of Operations includes providing support to the CEO, corporate affairs, and ensuring the offices run smoothly. “MPDC always brings new challenges and excitement to my life,” Yvette reflects.
Director of Communications and Public Affairs, Kelly Ransom, has been with MPDC since 2018 when she was hired as Communications Manager after stepping out of her role as Director of Communications & Events at the Boston City Council as a part of City Councilor At-Large Annissa Essaibi George’s team. Previously she worked with the Jamaica Plain Neighborhood Development Corporation as Fundraising & Communications Associate. She continuously volunteers her time with various non-profits, political campaigns, and community initiatives across the city. Ransom will continue leading all events & marketing for the organization with the additional responsibility of directing MPDC’s external communications with stakeholders, community partners, city agencies, and elected officials. Ransom is a graduate of Emerge’s Campaign Management Program and is currently acquiring her Certified Event Planner credentials.
Community Support Coordinator, Tahara Samuel, joins MPDC with over 12 years of professional experience in trauma response, workforce development, case management, and advocacy work with high and proven at-risk youth. She is a Certified Housing Specialist and has completed training in addiction counseling, behavioral therapy, and crisis education. She has been a member of the Boston Trauma Response Team since 2016, working alongside the Boston Public Health Commission in responding to emergencies and acts of violence and trauma within Boston communities. As MPDC’s Community Support Coordinator, Samuel will organize MPDC’s Public Safety programs under the Village In Progress (VIP) and the Neighborhood Trauma Team (NTT) initiatives. Her primary focus is to provide community support to improve the quality of life for residents in Roxbury.
