Every community needs strong leaders to guide them \u2013 and it is important to identify and nurture the leaders of tomorrow. MPDC offers programming to help our adult and youth residents develop leadership skills.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #4b711d;\"><a style=\"color: #4b711d;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.madison-park.org\/what-we-do\/resident-community-services\/health-equity-community-wellness\/\">Health Equity and Community Wellness<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>MPDC promotes healthy homes, healthy people, and healthy communities. We empower residents and encourage them to connect \u2013 and with the community.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #4b711d;\"><a style=\"color: #4b711d;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.madison-park.org\/what-we-do\/resident-community-services\/community-support\/\">Community Support<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>MPDC has been actively engaged in public safety and violence prevention efforts for over 15 years as a critical component of its comprehensive community and economic development efforts. Through its Community Support initiatives, MPDC strives to implement creative, resident-driven, and coalition-based solutions to community violence and other public safety challenges in the Roxbury neighborhood, particularly the Nubian Square\/Lower Roxbury areas MPDC\u2019s affordable housing footprint is most significant. We work in close partnership with various partners and collaborators, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/bphc.org\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Boston Public Health Commission<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wshc.org\/\">Whittier Street Health Center<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonhousing.org\/en\/BHA-Blog\/April-2017\/Amory-Street-Resident-Meeting.aspx?tagid=16\">Orchard Gardens Resident Association<\/a>, and MPDC\u2019s property management partners, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winncompanies.com\/winnresidential\/\">WinnResidential<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/trinitymanagementllc.net\/\">Trinity Management<\/a>, and their teams of Resident Service Coordinators.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #4b711d;\"><a style=\"color: #4b711d;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.madison-park.org\/what-we-do\/resident-community-services\/youth-development\/\">Youth Development<\/a><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Our community\u2019s young people are one of its most significant resources. MPDC offers many programs to cultivate the success of our younger residents.
